We always make it a point to stop at some of the region's best food spots when road tripping, but never really gave much thought to taking a road trip just for the food. Recently though, I came across this piece, that sure makes it sound like a good idea. I mean, why not tour some of the best cheese makers in Vermont, or BBQ in any of the country's famous areas... and would it get any better than microbrews in the pacific northwest? (although you might want to figure out alternative transportation than driving for that one).
